So today I will be writing a letter to a friend or a family member. But today I will be writing to my family member and that family member will be my mum. So lets get started right now, So LETS GO!!!!!
Dear Mum,
Kia Ora mum, I am in Tundra I am experiencing the best thing. So far I have seen a big river and I have seen a mountain that looks super nice.I am also experiencing a life time. I love speeding time in Tundra because it is a place where remains me of a journey of a life time where I can relax and find out some information about Tundra.Its pretty cold out here and I hope I get home soon so I can see you. See you soon.

ReplyDeleteWell done on completing another Summer Learning Journey activity, 'Living on the Edge'. You have put together a very creative letter addressed to your Mum. I really love how you have described the thundra to your Mum by talking about the mountains, the temperature, and the river. Maybe you could describe in detail how cold the weather is. I read that the thundra can drop to around -25 degrees Celsius. This is far colder than any temperature we have experienced in New Zealand. So your Mum might need to be told just how cold it is. What kind of clothes are you wearing? How do you keep yourself warm at night?
I would absolutely love to visit the thundra because it is so different to the environment we have here in New Zealand. I would love to explore the different kind of animals that survive in this environment. I would also love to ice skate on the frozen lakes. What would you like to do if you were to visit the thundra?
