In this blog post it will be about a girl named Yusra Mardini.For this activity I would be retelling a story about the girl.
Story time!!
Once upon there was a girl named Yusra Mardini who had love to swim.She was born in a country named Syria.When Yusra Mardini's home was damaged and destroyed,her and her own family didn't fly by plane because they flew by boat .But one moment the boat was okay but then it broke down.So Yusra Mardini and her sister had to be heroes by swimming even though it was only two of them,but they still pulled the boat to safety.Yusra Mardini was the first ever to complete in the olympics which where she got really happy because she got the glory she wanted.

Thank you for completing today's activity about retelling the story of Yusra Mardini .I think her story is truly amazing, and a very inspirational one too! I really like that you used information from her original story, but taken key words and information and retold this story in your own words ka pai!
I think it is cool that she is now training for the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo, will you be tuning in to watch the olympics? If so, what are your favourite events/sports to watch?
