Last week both of the senior classes had done an activity together. We were all in group there was a a mixed of room 6 students and room 8 students in a group.Doing the activity was really fun because I got to work together with people I never really talk to or know.The purpose of the activity was to find out where the location of this agent named Purple Monkey.

Film Reflection📷

In today's blog post I will be sharing some piece of work I made.The piece of work I will be sharing will be about a reflection about a film some of my classmates and I made.Our film was about selfish friends that are really selfish.

In my reflection I am talking about How I was feeling in our film,Something I enjoyed,Something I learned,Something I found challenging and some advice I would give to someone that will be creating a film next year.

Basketball!🏀🏀

Today we had our third Basketball Lesson WOW. Today for our third basketball lesson Jiilal we learned how to shoot.

At basketball, we started with our coach telling us how to shoot a basketball into the hoop. We already knew that right, but he just told was how to do it because some people sometimes do it wrong. So after he showed us and talked about how to shoot a basketball into a hoop, he told the girls to go line up on the other basketball court because at my school we have 2 basketball courts. So what happened with the boys was that they stayed on the other basketball court.

After doing what we had to do, our coach put 2 cones on a spot and if we got it into the basketball hoop we would have to shoot from the other cone he put out. The next thing that happened was that we did something else after we our first activity.

At the end of our lesson, we played a game called golden child. Golden Child is a fun and a cool game. Golden Child is a game that has 2 teams. One team is the shooting team, where they are in a line and they try to make the ball go into the basketball hoop. While the other team is running to a LONGGGGGG line, the running team has to run to the end of the long line without getting out. The running team can get out by if the shooting team shoots the ball and it gets into the hoop. However if the running team gets out they have to stop where they are and the next person in the line runs. The shooting team has to keep shooting until the coach or the person who is watching blows the whistle .

Duffy Books😏✌

On Wednesday my class and I WERE SO LUCKY, because we got free Duffy books.How we got them was  we got these papers that  had a hole lot of different kinds of books, so what we had to do was we had to write down the books that we liked and what kind of books seemed interesting to you. For my Duffy books I got two interesting, fun, amazing Duffy Books.The Duffy books I got was The Baby-Sitters Club  and I also got this amulet book called The last council..

Basketball

On the 23rd of August 2019 we had our second basketball lesson.In our basketball lesson we learnt so much techniques and skills.We learnt how to do passes. The passes we learnt was Chest, Bounce, Overhead and Over shoulder.

My favorite part of basketball was playing a game called ball tag.Ball tag is something where you have a team and you have to tag them,you can tag them but passing the ball to your team mates,but when you pass the ball to your team mates you have to stand still. If one of the other team mates are next to them and you have the ball you can tag them. Once you have tagged them they have to sit out because they have been out because someone tagged them

After you have got people out and your 2 mins timer is up the next team has to try get your team.One thing I learnt was how to shoulder pass with my left hand and my right hand. One thing I enjoyed was playing ball tag at the end.

My Mid Year Learning Conversation 2019

Today this blog post is about my mid year learning conversation. A mid year learning conversation is something that is about your learning. You have to write in what your strengths and interests are and such more. My mid year learning conversation was pretty good. But something I would mostly like to improve on is doing better in my learning mostly my reading,writing and maths.

GOING TO WAIKOWHAI INTERMEDIATE !!!!!!

 On the 26th of June at Hay Park School all the year 6 students got to go to Waikowhai Intermediate. When we first arrived there we had to go to the hall. We met the principal of Waikowhai. He showed us around the classes.There was some year 8 classes and some year 7 classes. It was really cool. There was a food tech class,performance and art class,hard tech class,visual arts call and such more cool classes.

Something I enjoyed at Waikowhai Intermediate was making a new friend. The new friend I made at Waikowhai Intermediate was a counselor,she was really kind and helpful because she was telling me what was happening and where we were going.

Something I  am looking forward too is making new friends,meeting my teachers and another thing I am looking forward too next year is trying new things.
