On the 23rd of August 2019 we had our second basketball lesson.In our basketball lesson we learnt so much techniques and skills.We learnt how to do passes. The passes we learnt was Chest, Bounce, Overhead and Over shoulder.

My favorite part of basketball was playing a game called ball tag.Ball tag is something where you have a team and you have to tag them,you can tag them but passing the ball to your team mates,but when you pass the ball to your team mates you have to stand still. If one of the other team mates are next to them and you have the ball you can tag them. Once you have tagged them they have to sit out because they have been out because someone tagged them

After you have got people out and your 2 mins timer is up the next team has to try get your team.One thing I learnt was how to shoulder pass with my left hand and my right hand. One thing I enjoyed was playing ball tag at the end.

My Mid Year Learning Conversation 2019

Today this blog post is about my mid year learning conversation. A mid year learning conversation is something that is about your learning. You have to write in what your strengths and interests are and such more. My mid year learning conversation was pretty good. But something I would mostly like to improve on is doing better in my learning mostly my reading,writing and maths.

GOING TO WAIKOWHAI INTERMEDIATE !!!!!!

 On the 26th of June at Hay Park School all the year 6 students got to go to Waikowhai Intermediate. When we first arrived there we had to go to the hall. We met the principal of Waikowhai. He showed us around the classes.There was some year 8 classes and some year 7 classes. It was really cool. There was a food tech class,performance and art class,hard tech class,visual arts call and such more cool classes.

Something I enjoyed at Waikowhai Intermediate was making a new friend. The new friend I made at Waikowhai Intermediate was a counselor,she was really kind and helpful because she was telling me what was happening and where we were going.

Something I  am looking forward too is making new friends,meeting my teachers and another thing I am looking forward too next year is trying new things.

Ramadan!

Aslam alaikum bloggers,

Tomorrow is Eid!!!!.We have been looking at some information about Ramadan because we have a lot of students that are Muslim in our class and school.

After we were looking at texts and information we had to create a DLO(digital learning object) about Ramadan. I choose to create a Google slide about  Ramadan
